iSYSTEM集成開發環境由三大部分組成：
BlueBox：
iSYSTEM的硬件藍盒通過USB或者以太網連接到PC，通過通用的排線加上針對各類芯片的連接器，就可快速便捷的進行在線仿真了。
支持超過50種CPU架構，3000 +微控制器和超過150種編譯器, 所有的處理器支持與高級功能都是通過License 激活，不需要更換硬件，并且license都保存在藍盒子里，不用擔心損壞或丟失。
針對不同型號的芯片，iSYSTEM藍盒以下兩步就可輕松切換不同系統環境了：
1、更換相應芯片型號的連接器，支持各種類型的接口：

2、將相應芯片的License燒寫進iSYSTEM的硬件藍盒中

IC5000/IC5700/IC6000: 集調試、單元測試、集成測試、時間測量、性能分析、覆蓋率測試于一體的高端設備。
基本功能：兩種通訊端口（USB，以太網），源碼級調試C、C++、ADA等，單步、運行控制，變量窗口、Memory窗口、匯編窗口、SFR等各種窗口查看，高速flash編程、多種條件斷點設置、實時觀測變量并圖形化顯示并保存、plug-in功能，如內置XCP插件可配合canoe/canape上位機做標定、協處理器/多核調試、RTOS（如OSEK等）支持等。
多核調試：winIDEA提供多核開發應用，只要在主核中打開新的窗格就能進行多核調試了，方便快捷，容易上手。
高級功能：實時跟蹤和記錄代碼運行軌跡，分析并統計函數執行順序、調用關系及執行時間，代碼運行覆蓋率統計等。
testidea：真正的基于目標代碼級的單元測試和系統測試，并生成測試報告。

Realtime Unit Testing - testIDEA:
testIDEA offers Real-Time Unit Testing by execution of test cases and test vectors on the real customer hardware without code instrumentation.
Using isystem.connect one can write test applications/cases and also automatically execute them on the hardware connected by iSYSTEM tool
Test applications and test cases can be written in many different programming and scripting languages (Python, Java, C/C++, C#, Perl, TCL…).
For an easy to use approach, testIDEA includes a GUI that simplifies creation and execution of test cases and report generation
All test cases can be reused in scripts
A tight association with Excel allows parameter import and export.
